How strong is the digital resilience of Fashion & Luxury companies in Italy?
The results of research by SDA Bocconi in collaboration with BeSight and Certilogo, under the patronage of Confindustria Moda, were presented on Dec 3rd during a webinar by professors Paolo Pasini and Emanuela Prandelli, together with Gian Paolo Piscopo and Rossella Munafo.Research brings out a significant focus in the necessary balance between the inevitable modernization process of companies in the fashion sector, the desire to invest in innovation and technology to remain increasingly connected with the final consumer and the current state determined by the emergency situation due to the pandemic.
There is a strong awareness – throughout the industry supply chain – of how crucial a digitalization process can be to overcome global challenges that will be increasingly conditioned by the ability to act by making the most of the opportunities that technology makes available. All this without forgetting the human aspect that requires dedicated actions for a “digital readiness”.
